The Beavers took a trip to Stonehaven to visit the RNLI Station and to hear about the importance of water safety. They learnt about the kit that the crew wear when out on the boat – over £1000, and the boat costs £120,000! They then got to sit in the boat at the boat shed.
Yes, Beavers Scouts have now been around for 30 years!
How great is that?
So to celebrate, 1st Portlethen Beaver Colony made their way along to Stonehaven Scout Hut on Saturday 26th March, and took parts in the fun and games.
Everybody had a great time and met other like minded crazy funsters!
“See you all at the next one guys!”
Another fine performance by Scout members from in and around Aberdeen.
Some 30, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Leaders, went along to the Saturday matinee performance at Aberdeen Arts Centre of our local gang show.
We were all Rolling Along on A Crest of A Wave by the end.
A huge Thank you to all that made the trip worthwhile.
We even managed to squeeze in an ice cream at the break!
When can we have an ice cream Akela?
