Beaver Scouts are young boys and girls usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest section in the scouting family. Our colonies are friendly and active places for your child to be – we get up to all sorts of things, including day visits, sleepovers, arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors and much more!
They are also very popular.
Hence, we have 2 Beaver Colonies.
Bourtree Colony – Beaver Scouts meet on a Monday night, at Bourtree Community Hall, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Hillside Colony – Hillside Beaver Scouts meet on a Wednesday night, at Hillside School, 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
This is a very popular part of the group and normally runs with a waiting list.If you would like your child to join in please contact the group by going to the Child Joining Link and ask to be added to the waiting list, so we can be fair to all.
Please don’t be afraid to come forward to offer to help.Come along to a meeting and have a chat with any of the leaders or contact us at the Volunteer page.
